I'm really excited about getting this car together. I'm afraid that when I finish I'll have so much blood, sweat, tears, and money in it that I won't want to beat on it!

sure is alot of talking going on in here lately. I'll be glad when everyone finishes their lil projects so we can have some war. Hopefully, there will be a good turn out at the track for the lsx thing...... I'm still stock so yall can pick on my 6 speed if you like.

Cody, nice illustrated story. And, btw for those who don't know, my car was running fine when it went on jackstands. This is elective surgery as I chose to not drive a car around with a known problem. That doesn't mean I couldn't have though. I didn't even find out about it till after the car was down for some upgrades. Also, its funny you mention a ranger vs an LT1. When I had a TPI IROC, I ran nose and nose with a stock V6 single cab ranger. It sucked for me.

LOL your talking about my 3 beat up cars? Ask outonyou what beat up cars your talking about cause you must be talking about someone else. The camaro was every bit of straight when i got rid of it, but you can talk **** about my (first) time ever using a paint gun when i sprayed that car. Oh and dont point out those near perfect red hockey stripes i taped up by hand. Then i traded it for a red 98 trans am that i drove the hell out of and need i say everyone liked the car and didnt want me to sell it for 5,500 and make 2,500 profit off of it. Yea so i bought a (beat) up 07 zzr600 for 3,100 and put new tires on it and traded it for a 11sec 90 model mustang. Now keep in mind this is in just a few months. Bought a z28 for $3,000 and painted it, that was $200. Keep up cause that make a $3,200 car that i put a bottle in a run the **** out of it. (that kit was $250 and i sold it for $275) Now thats $3,175 and i traded it for the trans am. Bought a oil pan for it for $300, sold a set of exhaust manifolds, a 5.3 intake, a set of 98 LS! heads, and what was left of the 5.7 that came out of the car for just over $400. If my math is correct that makes $3,075 that was invested in that car. I then sold it for $5,500 cash and bought the bike for $3,100 and bought 300 worth of new tires. So here we are at $3,400 now what? Should i say i used the profit off the t/a to buy the bike or what? If so that would make $2,575 thats free i guess you could say. I then put $425 with it to get the bike. So all in all i would say from the beginning of this I have roughly $425 tied up in a 11 second mustang. Now yes it has dents and the body is basically trash for the torque of the motor pulling the torque boxes off the car. Im about to spend $1,000 for a running notch back mustang to put my stuff in and im putting all the 4cly parts in my body. Ill then have $1,425 tied up in TWO running mustangs.

Like i said that was the time i had the black camaro to now. We wont even go back to when i sold the 91 camaro and sold bought it time and time again until i ended up making almost $9k off the damn car.
