Got a new 1 @ the local alt. shop for 7 bucks.....he also rebuilt my alt. for 67 bucks tax and all....back on the road ....thanks all.....

I don't know of any local cruise nights that are a regular thing, but I have been comtemplating asking everyone on here if they wanted to start meeting up on a certain night weekly or every other week somewhere just meet/eat and hangout. Good chance for everyone to get to know each other and check out some cars. It wouldn't be limited to just people on here really. Any day is good for me right now except tuesdays. I go back on nights in november so it would be an every other week for me then. Anybody have any ideas? I'd really like to do a two day cruise to anywhere with a overnight stay somewhere then come back the next day. Just to get away and chill somewhere different.

 

That would be awesome man. Give mes a reason to bring out the camaro or the ford.

 

My car is down for a few weeks have the rear out of it! Just got done cleaning the crap out of the bottom of my car with simple green! Then i painted everything satin black When i got done with that i was in the zone so i through on my bmr k-member lol. took me like 4 hours by my self taking my time

Thanks! im going from stock 10bolt with 3.42's to narrowed 9" with 4.30 gears that should wake this car up also took 50lbs off front of car

 

is there anything planned for this weekend? i'm contemplating going to friday test and tune at thunder road, since I haven't been to a track since red river closed, and have never run my car on any track before. anyone else been to the track lately?

car still isn't running great, have yet to find the wiring problem yet... pcm still reading IAT sensor as faulty, and strangely my amp cuts out sound randomly here and there...

Well hell if everyone in the trailer park pitches in and donates a piece of an f body we might be able to assemble a complete car. We can take turns using it, so we will have a sweet ride when we take our sisters out on dates.

That going in or out? if its going in i lube the hell out cams b4 i install them. especially if they are not going to be running in a day or to. If its just a quick cam swap i just oil it down because it will be running soon. If its a motor build and it can be a while i lube it up good! it looks a little dry other then the 1st cam bearing. only reason i say this is because ive had friends wipe out some cam bearings from not lubing enough.
