Glad to see Barksdale has some gear-heads . What ever came of the road course & drag strip on base somebody was talkin about back during the dark cold days of winter ?

weve had too much going on as of right now on base to even let that be one of our concerns. sorry if we got your hopes up. ill be speaking with the commander about that soon. ill inform you on what day it will be held on. the only prob. is getting people from here on to base due to the fact that i know a few of yall dont have military IDs. prob. is if i have escort you onto base im responsible for you. so there are some concerns about that. i believe they are planning on it during the summer. anymore ? about the course and drag race on the flight line just shoot me a pm.

How did it go tonight with the stall?

 

turned out great, we took a short test drive then i drove home and so far so good. i took it pretty easy and will until i get the tune. the little bit i did drive it i can say no matter what speed im at if i put it to the floor im in the powerband instantly. so im happy.

 

Well, what's going on this weekend? I'm about 95% sure I'll be at the track friday night if it's open. Been chompin at the bit to try it out since the 9" install. So if anyone wants to go let me know and we'll all meet up somewhere.

 

cant make it this weekend. but after greg hooks me up im taking this baby to see what it can put down. it pulls great any rpm any speed and any gear. i love stall converters.

This weekend I'm going to do Mother's Day stuff.

 

hilton the pull in second gear is crazy. normally second starts at like 45 or so which is an awful dead spot. i can be in second at 25 to 30 give it 3/4 gas and it plants so hard and tries to break the tires loose. i have been having to let out to keep from going sideways. the motor spins up and you would think you were in first and its a steady hard pull to the end of second...75 i would guess. awesome. btw i got all the fittings to clean up the cooler lines like you suggested. get rid of all the unneccesary bends and length.

man hearing all this car talk makes me sad, i havent touched a tool in2 months lol, but tomorrow i find out which base iam gnna get stationed at so wish me luck and hopefully i get barksdale so i can be back home
