I hope he makes it. I found him a lot more power, not sure if the other changes he made will help or hinder him in his quest. That would be a pretty good jump from his current best time. Especially in the 100 degree heat.

I'm excited about tonight. I may not get there as early as I'd like, but I'm coming!
I'm done with work about 3:30, gonna run home and pick up the tires that hopefully will be here by then, have them mounted, put them on the car, and head that way. Already have the helmets in the car! Goal is 7-7:30.

By wearing contact lenses instead of glasses and not wearing underwear, I plan to shave off enough weight to account for the heat!

Far as I know all he changed was the Idle some, it was bucking when @ a stop sign or red light so he fixed that. I told him its the beast in that truck that doesnt want to stop lol

LOL! Took that black one a little bit to catch up. hehehe
Yep, I tuned down my signature idle a little bit for him because it was just too much for his wife to daily drive. I took my aggressive idle all the way out, and Bud goes ....that sounds like crap....put some of that back in there, just not as much. So hopefully that is what he's riding with now.
I was talking about some bolt-on changes he made since last time he went to the track for a time. He will be quicker out of the hole, just hope it doesn't hinder the rest of the 1/4 mile. After watching that video, I now think he will be o.k.

Better scratch that. 11.60's after u left. maybe had a better time in it,idk. Im happy. Hot air and a good time, cant beat that. Next week, time to add a small mod, maybe knock a few more tenths off :-)

ITS ALIVE AND SOUNDS EEEEVIL.............MUAHAHAHA!!!
Yep, got the motor back together and started it about 5 minutes ago. Its extremely loud and has a massive lope to it so i had to shut it down for the night.
Ill get a few bugs worked out in the morning and do a little tuning and ill take a video to post. Also have to figure out what to do about my engine stand, it almost flipped over when i busted it off.
