I was reading another oil pressure thread last night and they said if the pressure fluctuates it is likely the rear cam cover seal. Dunno how true this is.

Apparently if the rear cover leaks, oil pressure drops, the front cover...probably not. That's what I got from post 9.

LOL, he's putting his 15" Billet specialies on it, so I wouldn't let anyone borrow my set, he said he just lost compresson in his car so they will sit there until he gets his done and EVERYONE wants to see my car run and I do to like you cant believe so I'm letting him take it out. He's got a H/C ls1 z28 with a 150 shot runs low 11's on motor not sure what on spray. Ran 11.0 @ 124 early this yr off idle b/c his rear brakes are bad.

Did he have a bad launch that run I wonder? It only takes about a 115 trap in a full weight auto to take you into the low 11s, maybe even close to an 11 flat. At 124 mph, his car has more in it I'd say. It takes some pretty good power to run that mph. Cam and bolt ons ain't gonna get it....

 

It's got heads, he left the line @2200 rpms 11.04 was the time just watched it again. Or his car has mad top-end like my motor did the my buddys car 10.90@128.99 slug out the hole but made it up on the hill. Tyler won't give full specs of his setup probably because he doesn't know, he bought the car like that and had to go through it fixing the jerry rigging. He sent me a text saying its different from is car, but feels just as strong and it would be a good race between us. The said the qa1's make his car ride rough and has never road in a car without them. We still need to tweak the tune, we don't have the converter locking in 3rd so we are gonna lock it around 105 and tweak from there.
