Dan that looks REALLY familiar to my first cam only motor. I found mine in the intake once I opened the throttle body lol. Along with the two holes in the block and half the oil pan gone.

Yes, that was me that tuned Ray's vette. No, it didn't run 12s. It ran 11s with the heads and cam setup he had before due to horrible 60 ft times and lack of driving 6 speed experience. However, it has now been upgraded again to the ZR1 Blower on the 427....pulling about 12 lbs of boost. I just tuned it again, and it runs pretty darn quick now. If it hooks....it's gone!

There done with auto x for this yr, join 318racing.org follow the rules for the intro thread and you can follow the auto x dates and classes ect. They will flame you hard if you don't post a picture of your car.

I just bought a 64k mi lq9 long block! gonna re-ring, buy new bearings and gaskets, and put a cam in and drop it in my truck with the FLT and yank stall! Gonna me a fun truck to drive!

Pretty low mileage to need a re-ring and bearings. Has it been sitting out or not taken care of or what?

Anyone have a need for a mystery converter? It's got TCI 242931 stamped on it (streetfighter), but it's in a midwest converter box. I got it included when I bought the TA I recently sold. The guy said they ran it behind his brothers built motor once, wasn't enough so they went with a different one. That's all I know about it, I've got two T56's on my garage floor, and don't need to start collecting auto parts. PM me an offer I guess, I know they go used for 300 or so shipped, but I'm cleaning my mess of a garage before someone calls that crap reality show on me, so offer me something. The thing looks brand new.
