I used to hang out a lot in Country Place. Dunno about too many David Houston's going around though lol. My dad was a country singer, same name and everything. He was big back in the day. Google him if you like. Though everyone that knows me usually knows that.
Btw anybody know how much I could get for a pair of dirty stock LS1 heads and valve covers?

I'll have to check the heads when I get outside tomorrow. They're in my trunk. I sprayed the valve covers down with degreaser but there's still **** caked on the underside. Im gonna try cleaning the heads here pretty soon, no clue how much either of them are worth though. ![Icon Confused](https://ls1tech.com/forums/images/smilies2/icon_confused.gif)
Nice numbers bro, I wish I could make 400 with this little 5.3![Sad](https://ls1tech.com/forums/images/smilies/LS1Tech/gr_sad.gif)
Oh almost forgot, anybody got a spare set of headers laying around?

If they're stock 98 heads then their 806's which are the perimeter bolt heads and they're not worth maybe around 80-100 and the 853's and 241's are usually running between 100-150. The 243's are somewhere in the 300-400 range. These are prices that I have seen on here. I have a set of 241's in a box in my shop that I'm gonna do something with one day and a set of 853's on the car. Mines a 98 also, but has a LS1 from a 2000 which is why I have the 853's.

Chris, either the dyno was very generous or you have one of those factory freaks you read about on here. I would suspect your actually in the 410-420 range, but I'm no expert by any means. Of course the elements have alot to do with everything. The date said 3/28 which is the perfect month for perfect weather and temps. These cars love the cooler temps about as much as a FI car. I can notice a big difference running my car in march when the track first opens and it feels like a turd in July when it's only running about 3 tenths slower. Cainsw can back me up on this along with Caddo and some of the other guys that go pretty often and run these cars.

I've got a full true dual exhaust I'm going to be getting rid of.
Those torque numbers are HUGE. I put down 419.8 / 395lb, and it wasn't on a Mustang Dyno.
Josh, if you want to borrow my valve covers while you get yours powdercoated, give me a call.

I know. There was a reason i have never posted this before. I thought i heard you can actually put down more on a dynojet than a mustang. Anyone else? You guys think this dyno is rigged?

I had a long talk with Stephen over at East Texas Muscle Car the other day. He said their dyno has been delivered and that if we show up with 10 are more cars for a dyno day he will cut us one hell of a deal (3 pulls@ $30). I know Scott was talking about us going over one day and was just wondering if the plans are still a go.
