I hear ya on jet changes. Like everything else, it does get a LOT faster after you've done it a bunch.
Strange it would blow the tires off with the car in the air. The tires sound like they are spent.

I have to pull the intake to get the right rear jets. Its a vic jr with big rails with your old elbo and with ac and everything else under the hood you can not put a wrench on the last fogger. But after hearing you and ATVracr i'll just jet it back to a 32/36 and work on getting it to 100% fast.

They have about 80 passes on them and have a little less than half left, This car has done this from the first spray pass even when the tires where new.
I have my rear shocks 5 clicks from the softest setting and have the front on the softest setting and after just watching a few vids it looks like it is spinning when the tires set back down, Should i try to stiffen the fronts? The front feels very soft with this LSX block compared to the LS1 when it was in there maybee i should look into getting a stiffer spring

We have seen a trend to larger spreads with more FP. This way you can control the amount of fuel. Anything less than 5 pounds or so just isn't consistant.
We have run from 6.5 to 8.5 pounds with as much as a 12 jet spread. Our fast passes have been with a 42 Nitrous Jet and the controller at 100% from start to finish. We have a couple of cylinders that never show as much heat and have tried to push the ring lands. We will drop a size on the fuel side and read the EGT and plug for those cylinders next time out. Too much fuel is worse than not enough.
Oh yeah, that fuel isn't going to cut it at all. We use VP N02
Good luck!

I can only guess from what the car is doing that the rebound on your front shock is too loose. Try tightening that up and see if you have any luck. Just make sure you still have enough power in it that it would blow the tires off on rebound as it did before. You can only make one change at a time or you'll be pulling your hair out trying to dial the car.
If that doesn't solve it, then the next step I would take is to tighten up the limiters so it doesn't stand up so high.
If you can get in on a track rental you'll make a lot of progress in one day with a bunch of 330' hits.

Get a vid of the car launching and spinning. sounds like the shocks are to loose . we run the back 42 clicks from full tight on a 12 way and the front 5 .ager them though and run 1 looser on te pass front to keep the front coming up even.
Im wiht atv and next get hert to 100 as fast as possible once you have that donw then up the jets but i wouldn;t want it pulsing after say 1.5 seconds. with atv's car we try to have it all in under 1 second. we don;t use a progressor just stages.

Ok I jetted it down today from a 40/40 to a 28f/32n i will start at 6.5 psi of fuel pressure, I will change plugs at the track tomorrow, also going from a #10 plug to a #8. I will work on getting it to 100% with 1.5 sec or less. I'll let you guys no how it goes

It depends on if i get it tuned right. So far it has been 6.02 on less that a 200 shot so a 250 shouldnt have any problems getting it into the 5's with a good tune up. But i would love to hit it with everything at dh8, The goal for that day is to drive it there (100 miles) run into the 8,s and drive it back home.

Well first pass out was a .2 delay started at 60% ramp to 100% in 1.0 sec I also tighten the front shocks. The car hooked and surprised Paula that it hooked and her foot came off the pedal she got back in it for a plug reading.
It was still pig rich the wideband was reading 10.0 and the plugs backed it up, This was at a 28f 32n and 6.5 psi of fuel pressure along with 1,000 bottle pressure. The 2nd run i took 1psi of fuel from the standalone and took the bottle pressure to 1050 also left with no delay and started at 80% ramping it to 100 in 1.0 sec, The car never moved it twisted the drive shaft lol
We will be out again saturday

well took the car out again with the 28f 32n jets and its still way rich.
First run 6psi fuel pressure and 1,000 on the bottle wideband flat lined at 10.0 and plugs backed it up
2nd run 5psi of fuel pressure and 1,000 bottle pressure same results
3rd run 4psi of fuel 1,000 bottle pressure same results
4th run 3psi of fuel 1050 bottle pressure afr was 10.04-10.09
Timming was at 13* with a #8 plug
with the AFR still that rich at 3psi should i go with a 34n jet or go with a 36n, 36 would be a 8 jet spread
