Default Vic. Jr vs. FAST 90 for initial nitrous system

I'm in the middle of a TH400 swap and to make up for some of the power that is going to be sucked away I want to add some nitrous to the mix. I already have a FAST 90 along with the other mods in my sig. With the cam I have I notice the power falling off after 6500 and it shouldn't. I think the FAST and my stock 243's are holding me back. The other thing I have read about is the #7 cylinder issue with the composite manifolds. Would switching to a Vic Jr solve this?

Option #1 Nitro Daves plate kit with NANO for the FAST 90

Option #2 Vic Jr. with an elbow and the spray bars in the manifold w/ NANO

Option #3 Vic Jr. with an elbow and a plate kit w/ NANO

Option #4 Vic Jr. with a carb plate system and NANO

Which would you all choose and why?

#2, that's what I will be going with next year. I like the spray bar because of the hood clearance and Dave flow tests it for your intake.

My suggestion would be to port the FAST that you already have. I think that would be the most cost effective solution. That would give you enough saved to spec a cam for your combo.

i would go for option 4 and let me explain why. first off i actually did that option and could not be happier. the victor jr will distribute the nitrous charge better than the fast 90. also, having a carb plate kit puts the nitrous in the right spot. i cant tell you which plate i run because its not a sponsor but is the best plate on the market. pm me and ill tell you. on a victor jr and carb plate kit, i saw 170 rwhp and 240 ftlb on a 150 shot. the car runs amazing and every plug looks fantastic. also, the power gains are threw a 9" rear end.

option 2 is a good choice to but will not spray as nice as the plate kit i have. it comes down to clearence under the hood too.

I am really leaning toward at least getting the Vic Jr just for the fact it's actually designed to be flowing a fuel/air mixture and the FAST is only really designed to flow air. That and I can recoup money spent by selling the FAST.

Does anyone know if the FAST fuel rails will fit on the Vic Jr or do I need new ones?

Not to worried about hood clearance. If I need one I'll get a cowl hood or make one from my 04 hood.

I talked with my tuner and he said if I'm spraying less than 300 just stick with the FAST and if I want more go directport. So that's what I'm going to do. Now to save up for a Nitro Dave's plate kit w/ NANO.

I would not spray over a 200 with a fast unless it was direct port. I'm running nitro daves plate on my fast 90/90 and I'm spraying the 200 and I constantly check my back plugs.

Great numbers you have there. What elbow are you running? I'm going with #4 with my setup but don't have an elbow yet.
Was the 608rwhp with the 150shot.
Thanks,
Scott
