can my f-body take out my brother in laws gt500 ok a few months back my brother in law went and bought a brand new gt500, and he goes to the track all the time. stock he ran low low 12's. and last time he ran before his motor tore up was 11.80's. that was with a intake and tune. his motor blew when he took it and had a pulley and some other stuff what im not exactly sure.
so i have a 2002 z28 m6 with cam, longtubes, offroad y, slp loudmouth, underdrive pulley, and hptuners. and a lid. i just got my dynotune nitrous dry kit in and have been looking at some DR's but i wanna get some vette wheels first so i can go wider. a friend has some with 295's that he wants 1000 for i might get. so my question is besides the driver mod, what do i need to keep that monster in my rear view. he can drive the wheels off a car, so thats in his favor. i only street race, only been to the track maybe three times. i think he said he's dropping a new engine in soon but dont know if he even plans to mod this one after his last experience, but if he does.

must have alot of money to be ripping up a 45k+ car. anyway, its probably all gonna be in the launch, i think those things are heavy. 175 shot should do pretty well. guess you will have to see.

i have a buddy running 10.60's@128 with full exhaust,suspension and a 3.4 whipple. not sure how much boost he is running. i take him on the street in my c5 with h/c/i/e and spray. i trap 132 not spraying out of the hole and ramping it up over 3 seconds.

how did he blow it up?? did he bother getting it tuned after the pulley? with a 150 shot I bet you could hang ?
BTW- I believe evolution performance is making over 1000 rwhp on a stock internal GT500....

first of all ..learn how to spell or at least use spell checker. you make yourself look ignorant. second... if a mod wants to move it great, i don't care what section my thread is in. and if it gets locked it wont ruin my day in the least. its just a internet thread, not my lifes work.

i just asked him and he did take it to evolution, they installed all his parts and did the tuning, and now its F'd up i dont know exactly what he had installed but it was insane when he got it back but something went wrong and now its parked in his garage. but he has money, so he said he's getting a new engine. he also has a 03 GT vert with a novi, gears and full exhaust that is sitting arround with a tore up engine, so he's kinda rough on his cars.
