Thought about trying to go 10's with just bolt-ons+spray? Might run e85
Car is currently just an 02 Z28 M6 with bolt-ons/tuned, but im getting ready to purchase a hsw plate kit.
i have gone 12.36@115 so far with just the bolt-ons and the car made 357whp. car still has the stock clutch/rear/suspension but im also about to buy a 9" w/4.11's & a clutch in the next month.
I wanted to try and break into the 10's with just the bolt-ons+nitrous. do you guys think i could possibly hit a 10.9 with a true 150whp shot? that would put me at approx. 500whp with goobs of TQ. Car is pretty much full weight with the exception of no spare tire/jack.
another thing. ive been debating on doing something different and possibly having the car tuned on e85 and run a larger shot(175-200). what would you nitrous guru's think about doing that to try to hit my 10 second pass stock motor?

I'm trying to do it with only a 100 shot...getting close..but season is over now. My car isn't even tuned. Just using the HSW Interface to get the A/F ratio good.

same here should have it next time out if all goes well 11.04@123.08 on a 100 shot full weight. I'm adding a tq arm, and pulling the backseats, and front bumper supports and heading back out in a few weeks

I have not been to the track since i put in my cam and added the 200 shot. With bolt on's and a 150 i went 7.13@103 in the 1/8(just 1/8 tracks close by where i live lol) My car is a 6 speed with a stock 7 1/2 rear(4.10's).I sold my centerline convo pro wheels and got 17x9 1/2 and 17x11 fikse FM 5's so i have not been to the track since(i know what your thinking lol "you have not been to the track since all those mod's" lol)Been just to car shows and cruzing around on weekend's ever since lol.I did put down with cam and 200 shot 553 hp and 627 tq. through a 2 1/2 ory and a flowmaster cat back. Not the best number's i know but i'm happy with it.

You cant just fill your car with E85 without making a few changes to the complete system. Most E85 vehicles run SS Lines and filters to be able to handle the causticity of the fuel. I had a customers car burn up after running E85 for a few months in a 95 lincoln because it was cheaper. I personally do not see the need to switch to E85 due to the cost of fuel these days and what kind of mileage you will be looking at just for the added boost in power. I would rather make other modifications to make up for the added power. Or run Torco or c16 on a dedicated fuel system. E85 is not worth the changes.

i went 12.36 my 2nd time at the track with the car, first time with radials/stock clutch&rear. next month i'm hoping to go high 11's with a clutch/moser 9" with 4.11's launching the car hard and hopefully a 10 second pass on the 150

having the 6 speed could kill you.
i went 10.7 @ 127mph on stock internals 2 years ago, tnt 150 (true 150 shot). BUT this is with a th400. think a 1.55 60' did it for me.
definitely do-able though no sweat with an efficient setup and a drivetrain. nothing exotic on my car, hptuners, boltons, STOCK springs, struts etc...26" tire
