Default HELP!!! I cant get my nitrous to work!

just recently bought a used NOS 5177 kit. I hooked everything up according to a wiring diagram. I am not goin to use a WOT switch since i have a 6spd and i need some kind of traction in first gear and i am not goin to use a FPSS. I know the solenoids are good cause i straight wired them to a battery and they both work fine. how do i need to change the wiring in this diagram if i am not goin to use a WOT switch or FPSS. Also what could be wrong as to why i am not getting any fire to the solenoids. On the fuse relay isnt the blue wire that u hook to the solenoids supposed to have fire when the car is on because my sure doesnt. What could i have done wrong?Any pics or directions would be greatly appreciated. I already have a MSD Window Switch by the way.

i have the orange wire with the inline fuse to the battery, the blue wire to both of the hot wires on the solenoids, the green wire to one side of the push button for the nitrous to spray, the red wire tying in with the red msd window switch wire to one terminal of the arming switch, a ground wire to the other terminal of the arming switch and a power wire to the other terminal of the arming switch. Then i have the yellow wire from the msd running to the other side terminal of the push button nitrous switch, black wire from msd to ground on the body of car, white msd to rmp wire. Does all that **** sound right? I know in the diagram it shows the green fuse relay wire goin to one terminal of the WOT switch and the yellow of the msd to the other terminal on the WOT switch. So i just figured that since i am not running a WOT switch that i would run the green to one slot on the push button and the yellow to the other to spray but should the button have to get some kind of fire from somewhere?

Bron,

What are you trying to prove? Take the guys advice on ls1 and get another window switch. You won't prove **** by blowing it all up -- and your car is too nice for that man.

Why are you not running a WOT switch?

Why would you want to spray at partial throttle?

cut the loops on the window switch yet? I just installed the new "modified" window switch on a customers car last night and it still wouldn't work until the loops were cut.

There is a good wiring diagram on ls1.com in the nitrous section. It's on the second page of the n2o faq thread.

The WOT switch will make shure you will only spray at WOT. If you spray at partial trottle then your looking to replace motor parts.

How about try this one out: wire your push button in line with the window switch AND your WOT switch. You will save your motor and you will be able to turn it off and on with the push button still. Better yet, I have window switches that have a first gear lockout option in them, no steering wheel or shifter **** buttons. Just launch and shift. Send me some mail if your interested.
