Default HSW air/fuel interface question

So quick question for those who use this interface, or thought about it and didnt...

My car I have tuned with HPTuners.. I can do most of the timing air/fuel rations myself on the laptop with HPTuners...

Do I need this at all????
http://www.harrisspeedworks.com/shop...age=1&featured

I am wanting to get the dry plate kit from them... But my car is tuned and will adding this interface be a waste of time, or will it interfere with my tune that I have..

I really dont want to readjust stuff in my tune just to make this work, since I have HPTuners to tune it..

So if I dont need.. I wont get.. But wanted to see what you guys know of, or if this helps even though I am tuned for the juice....

The thing I like about the Interface is that you can keep your N/A tune and the Interface only activates when using the juice.

Much easier than swapping back and forth with HPTuners

Also, since you're wanting a dry kit, it will be a little more complicated to have a dry kit tune post-MAF.

ahhh.. so this dry plate kit is actually post MAF huh???

I got why it would be required if it is post MAF...
I had not seen any installation pictures of this, so was unsure...

So if that is the case.. I guess one of the wires on the interface would be for the nitrous activation signal, so the interface knows when to activate??

Exactly, it is wired to the window switch and sees when it is activated.

I am using a dry plate.

If you are stuck on a dry kit, the Interface is going to be the best option for you. I love it, makes it very easy to tune and no need to mess with my N/A tune.

(Here is mine, the other side was capped off after I took the pic..)

So quetion then on the window switch part...
Am I required to run the window switch?

I had one, and had alot of issues with it so went with the plain old good ole button that I push...

Not sure on that...

which window switch did you have trouble with?
I am using the single stage that NitrousOutlet/Dynotune sell...and it is working great for me. The HSW Micro Edge is another great option.

you can run a button, a window switch is just added safety, the HSW microedge seems to work great for everyone and has a lot more than just a window switch especially for the price, it is nice to have

To run the dry kit you will need the interface as it controls the fueling. It will not affect your NA tune as well. You can use or not use a window switch if you would like. The MicroEdge certainly does have a lot of features packed into it and you might want to consider it, but no its not needed.

So basically I should put my **** back to a N/A tune instead of a dry Nitrous tune.....and use the interface...
FU*K

wasted money on HPTuners if that is the case..LOL
I will still use it.. but dam...

well you should def. have a spot on NA tune regardless. If you ever upgrade any components you will always have the tuning software at your disposal. Yes the interface does eliminate most aspects of dry shot tuning, but there is still plenty you can do with the tuning software.
