150 Wet Shot ok?
150 Wet Shot ok? I am gonna go Dyno this weekend, and wanted to make sure I was safe with running a 150 wet shot.I have mostly bolt ons. Anyone else run a 150 wet on dyno? Results? TIA
Re: 150 Wet Shot ok? Well, Its a stock fuel pump and I use 93 octane. Are you saying I need a better pump or just make sure mine works properly? Also, I am running TR-6 plugs.

Re: 150 Wet Shot ok? I'm not sure i'd use a 150shot, with stock timing, and 93 octane. I think you'll get detonation like that. I've been told to either run some race gas or retard the timing for that large of a shot.

75 shot, then 100, and then if everything looks good go for the 150. Thats what the dyno is there for to tune your car a/f so I would. But I only would if you run race gas. I see people on here running 100-150 on top of heads and cam so if you only have bolt ons you should be ok with tuning and race gas.

Re: 150 Wet Shot ok? Well, I have never used race gas. Do i just drop a bottle of some octane boost or is there actually a place that sells high octane out of a pump? Sorry if that seems like a dumb question, but I have only seen the octane booster stuff at some of the auto stores. TIA.
