Ive got a 99 project car and love it so far easy to make power... Trust me I left camaro back in the lt1 days and switched to sohc *** powered 4.6 stangs... always ran wet kits.. I love nitrous its like synthetic crack cocaine for anything with motors lol... ive found a very cheap dry kit, "i know you get what you pay for, with a 50 shot how long will an unforged motor last???? secondly with dry id like to run a window switch, please tell me pros and cons fellas.....

do a little searching on here for the HSW Microedge it is a bad as window switch and in a GREAT price range, it has a lot of features and a lot of us are using it with great results. On a stock motor with a lil 50 shot, as long as the tune and motor are okay i wouldnt really worry about popin the motor too much, pleanty of people spraying many bottles on stockers with 100-125 shots and a proper set up

50 shot is a tease, and once you find out how easy it is, you'll up the jet fast!

Call up Harris Speed Works and they'll hook you up with a nice dry setup.

stock bottom end LS1's are good "up to" a 150 shot...We have actually sprayed 250+ on stock bottem ends for extended periods of time. Only draw back with a dry shot is upgrading your injectors. When you need to upgrade will depend on your NA power.

as for pro's and con's, just search wet vs. dry.

That is definitely true...I've done a few head/cam swaps on 4.6 2v cars.

I don't really see a reason to run a wet kit on an LS1. I'd go dry or direct port dry. Do some searching to find some nice threads. I've always been a dry fan, but now with the products HSW offers it's a no brainer

Regardless of the size shot you run, get all the safety equipment that you can. Get it tuned right, make sure your fuel delivery is up for the task, and you shouldn't have any problem. As for the size goes, a 50 shot is nothing on these cars. Don't be surprised when you find yourself swapping in 125+ jets before your first bottle is empty
