A few quick questions if you dont mind-

Is this system considered a high pressure system since it runs off the rails? Can you adjust fuel pressure for the nitrous or is it set by the fp regulator?

How high can you jet this thing up to? What is the limit with those solenoids???.. if you wanted to with a large shot you'd have to do a complete fuel system to meet requirements.....

Looks awsome btw!

Thanks
Conrad

RyanJ - The back of each rail is threaded so you could put the crossover in the back if you wanted to, I just plugged it off with the plugs they supplied. You can use the openings on the back of each rail for a fuel pressure gauge, FPSS, or even use it as the fuel supply of a second stage like a MAF kit

Bad30th - I myself am very pleased with the appearance of this kit Give Nitro Dave a Call on pricing, he will take care of you.

theblur98ss - Yes the NXL kit uses the regular fuel system for the injectors and the nitrous system.

Nitro Dave - I told you it looked sweet

FastBlackTA - yes it is a high pressure system that is set by the in-tank regulator so unfortunatly you can't adjust it the only way to make A/F changes is by changing the jets. The NXL kit comes with jetting up to 180hp but will support up to 300

I talk to Josh at NX and he said the nxl kit was only good for 200 hp Please tell me if I am wrong.

Thanks man...

The only thing i don't like about the system is the fact that you can't adjust fp for tuning and that from the looks of if you can't change the solenoids if you needed to increase flow (still not sure how much the system can really flow).....you also can't run a stand alone fuel system up front which i want to go with. thats why i went with the noszle system (hope to install it next week with stand alone fuel system) even though it doesn't look half as nice.

however, if i was planning on keeping the shot size realistic (hope to finally assemble my 427 setup for large shots in two months) i would def have gnoe with the NX system. it has a clean look and looks very professional.

just my 2 cents

I may be mistaken on the hp level of the kit, I will check for sure tomorrow.

The lack of adjustability of the fuel system is the ONLY thing I do not like about this kit.

Very nice!! But I am in the bigger shot/separate fuel system. I had to go with the nozzle system. have been working on the install for a week or so. Will post up pics when its in and done. Not as clean but still not too cluttered.

Are the lines equal length on the NXL kit???? Does not seem to be.

Very nice setup-makes me jealous.

Maybe 200 is just the max jetting that the kit comes with? I've heard it is capable of 300 more than once.

After talking with Ricky at NX today he confirmed that the kit is in fact adjustable all the way to a 300 shot.

Can you run a seperate fuel system for the nitrous? (like you can with standard DP kit)

The fuel passage feeding the the NXL nozzles are fed via the solenoid from the main fuel rail. So, you'd need to find another way to get fuel to the nozzles. There's nothing stopping you from putting on your own distribution block and solenoid though

Nice install - I just received this kit from Dave and am waiting on some missing hoses before installation. Curious about how your car runs with it - heard from Dave there is a "hesitation" upon activation of the system that needs to be addressed by NX.

Later, Mark

BadHabitBird, very nice pics, awesome how it looks on a NBM..hehehe. NEway, glad to hear the 300hp level is solid, heard to many rumors about 200/300 and some zealous 400. I had talked with someone from NX a few months back and was told you can run a separate fuel system, since the rails were tapped on both ends and the solenoids were capable, not sure though. 300 is all I need anyway
Dead spot might be from the length of the tubing when used without a purge maybe, dunno. Shouldnt effect the fuel injectors any as for the system. Anyone????

definately a cleaner looking system than my NOSzle. I would want to see one with a low pressure fuel set-up myself. My NOSzle is finally coming around and hope to get a good timeslip this friday. I have some pics if someone can post them. It is not a pretty system but the NXL has possible disadvantages too. I have heard from "old school" racers that the rail type systems sometimes get air pockets in them and I would like the ability to change solenoids. If I had it to do over I would buy a true drill and tap direct port system.

You can always not use the fuel off the rail and just setup a seperate fuel system to feed into the fuel bungs below the injectors.
