Preheat the oven for 10 minutes, throw it in for 5.

But no seriously a bottle warmer is a very nice investment(I consider it a must have). Hot water in the bath tub is another way that works

Hot water is the best and fastest way if its practical for you. You don't even have to put it in a tub or sink, just have a sink big enough that you can run water over most of the bottle. Other than that, bottle warmer.

That's the way I would recommend doing it.

When we are tunning we use our Hot water BOX to get the bottles to pressure. Back in the day we would soak the bottle in the machanics wash tub filled with hot water. Results came very quickly.

The best way to heat a bottle, well, IMO, since the NANO technology hit the market I would rec not heating the bottle at all, no need. The bottle heaters have become dated technology and there is a much, much better way to keep stable bottle pressure. Now that i think about it, the heaters never could keep a stable pressure and that is there down fall. Get NANO, lol.

I have done this. The morning before heading to the track. Works really quick. Then keep the blanket on it all the way to the track.

I recently towed some cars down to get dyno tuned about 4 hours away. Cars sat on the car hauler all night in 10 degree weather, then the trip down there in below freezing temps on an open trailer. Bottles were FRIGID. Less than 2 minutes under a hot running sink netted like 950 psi bottle pressure.

Used to do that before I got a bottle heater.
Works great, but can be a hassle.

Inverter and a blow dryer... You can make a couple bucks in staging doing cut & styles, but you'd have to offer racer net pricing.

I've used the heater in the car before but it took a long time. When I didn't have a heater on my bike bottle I took one of the portable 500w halogen lamps and stuck it next to the bottle. They are HOT and will warm it fairly quickly so have a guage on it and watch it GOOD.

start your car... put the floor heater on and leave it idling.....

run bathwater... add a few pots of boiling water....

take bottle from floor of car and insert in bathwater while combining boiling water.

are you serious..... how would you expect to heat it bro?

You are asking for a bottle to rupture on you. You are weaking the metal of the cylinder, DOT regulations prohibit a compressed gas cylinder from seeing more than 125F on the surface, for good reason. Do it right and hook up the damn heater before you hurt yourself or someone else.

I have been running nitrous for over 6 years and my father has been running it for 20 years. We ALWAYS use a torch. Everybody I know that runs limited street, outlaw 10.5 and Outlaw DR all use torches.

I have a bottle that is over 8 years old that i run in my car that my dad ran in his, and we always used a torch.....

So umm yea, **** a heater....just my personal opinion.

LOL, I used to do that back in the day. Put bottle in tub under warm/hot running faucet then once bottle gets heated up I'd wrap it w/ a beach towel.
It would stay pretty warm for a while.

Just because someone's been doing it for 20 years and a bunch of lemmings follow doesn't mean its smart. I work with compressed and liquified gases, and I've seen what happens when a cylinder ruptures, so no I don't take kindly to it when I see guys at the track using a torch near me. Again, DOT regulations state any cylinder exposed to a skin temperature of greater than 125F must be taken out of service. You weaken the metal of the cylinder wall and now the rupture disk is no longer the weakest link.

But hey, what do I know, not like I get paid for this.

So umm yea, **** safety in the name of saving 200 bucks...just my personal opinion
