How many of you run an accumulator in conjuction with a fpss as another safety percaution?

What type of Set up are you running? What is the reason you feel you need a Fuel accumulator?

I wouldn't advise using an accumulator as a band-aid type fix. I would address the problem you're seeing first hand with a pump/front mount regulator/etc.

I was told that the accumulator will help eliminate the lean spike of the initial hit. I'll be running a wet plate kit from Nos.5168 i believe.

 

I am not afan of the accumulater. If you are having a lean spike due to fuel pressure drop its time to upgrade the fuel system. If you are having a lean spike and the fuel system is not droping pressure the fix would be to shorten the hose from the fuel solenoid to the plate.

Another way around it is to use a controller like the microEDGE to add a delay to one of the solenoids. Inherently the F-Body fuel system has its demons and occasionally there is the one car that shows this issue more than the others. I would get everything together first and go from there. No point in spending money where it might not be needed. Just my $.02.
