How big of a shot are you wanting to run?

I actually just bought the Zex kit for my FAST 92/92 Setup. I haven't done anything yet, but it looked like a nice clean set up.

Unless you're looking to move up significantly in shot size, I would not recommend a direct port system. At that shot size, the fuel jets are really small and very susceptible to clogging, especially with a high pressure fuel system. Take a look at our single nozzle or plate systems as they will be more than capable of meeting your needs.

^ If you were going to go with a DP dry would there be any better/safer way to do a 100 shot than a DP setup?

Absolutely you could nix the fuel end of the nozzle and go dry direct port but it would require the use of some sort of controller or ecu to control the fueling end of it. You wouldn't have the issue of the small fuel jets either. Problem is that there is a significant cost involved for something that can easily be obtained via a single nozzle or plate type system. What were you looking to do?

i say save your money for bottle fills and get a wet plate kit, they work really well

I would just go with a wet plate. DP should be 250 or more shot.

Not necessarily looking for anything as of yet. Mainly just compiling ideas and different paths. I have been contemplating throwing a kit on my car and I am only consdering a dry setup. I have complete tuning abilities at my fingertips already since I have the full HPtuning suite. With the stock bottom end, I would go with a plate kit/dry setup since I am not too keen to flowing fuel through the intake mani. I am just always "nervous" about nitrous distribution through any means of manifold application because a quick reading of my plugs shows cylinders 5, 6, and 7 leaner than the rest. Obviously nitrous would just exacerbate the issue and while nothing would likely happen with the miniscule shot I would run(~75hp or so), there may just be more risk than I am willing to take at this moment.

If I ever decide to build the motor, I would go for a DP dry setup. I likely wouldn't be spraying more than a 200, but the safety would be worth the added expense for me.

flowing through the intake on a dry setup can be done safely, and from the advice HSW is giving you unless you go with a much bigger shot through the intake would be the safer way to go over DP with such a small hit. If you are worried about individual cylinders running leaner going with a DP set up isnt going to fix that issue since you will be sprayng the same into each cylinder. What i would do is get a temp gun and start fixing your individual cylinder fuel trims since as you said you have acess to the tuning software. Get the cyl trims balanced out and that should help your concern. Are you doing any datalogging? and how much leaner are we talking on these cylinders?
