Default Selenoid wiring

ok i bought a used nos wet kit... its all ready to get wired but im not sure how ... ...each selenoid has two wires both the same color coming out..how do i know wich one is ground and wich one is positive there are no marking on either.... i hooked them to the battery both ways and it clicks both ways///

so does this mean either wire can be used as ground or positive

yes it can be done with either a ground or a positive, are you using a relay? if not go to radio shack and get one for $5 pin 30 should have a wire with an inline fuse going to the battery, pin 85 goes to ground, pin 87 goes to the noid and the other wire goes to ground, pin 86 goes to the arming switch which goes to a switched 12v source...

that is a good simple wiring for a basic n2o system
