TR7/TR8 what gap?
Stock compression, 175 shot, just under 600rwhp
I'm running TR6's right now and they have been fine for the last year through 10 second passes an all. However, I'm upping the spray from 150 to 175 and figured I would play it safe and go colder.
I only spray the car once every month at private track events so I'm thinking the 7's and a somewhat conservative tune would work (not sure if the 8's would fowl under normal driving and garage queening ). To be honest I will probably try them both. My main concern is what i should gap them too.
After searching I have found conflicting info and am hoping to get some solid advice...

You'll never find a definate answer because not all combos are going to like the same set up. I would start them out wide and work your way tighter. I think that the 8's are overkill for your combo.

Cam swap and tune next week... along with possibly changing to the 7s. Im looking for a good starting gap to work from. My tr6's are fine. If they can handle more spray Ill just stay with them.
