depends on how much total horsepower your making. LS7 clutch is generally good up to 550 rwhp.

I've ran the same Textrallia OZ700 for 4 years or so through two nitrous motors and two transmissions. I only had to swap the clutch disc when a faulty slave cylinder ruined it. Great clutch for me and is holding up real well to my 416 and 150shot.

I ended up getting a used(2K miles) Textralia Z-Grip. I plan on running a 100 shot through it.

all depends on rwhp, traction, and how you drive it.
im looking for 500+ rwhp, 315 MT drag radials and i drive it like i stole it.

NOS brand clutch would be the best choice.
Ok serisouly, I would stick with ls7 clutch and give it a try. If you have problems replace it.

We've had WAY too many customers complaining about their LS7 clutches in their bolt-on LS7 cars to recommend that one for much of a nitrous hit on an LS1!

We've had great success with the Monster Clutches lately. If you want to shoot me a PM on what kind of NA power and what size shot of juice you're throwing at the car, I can make you a recommendation on one of their clutches that will take care of you. They are also the only 12mo/12K mile warranties I've ever seen on racing clutches!
