Default securing dry nozzle in a filter...

to those that have put a nozzle in a filter...either thru a panel filter like the ls1 or in cone...how did you secure it? just really force it thru a small hole? Lol

I don't think it would stay in the filter without some body washers or something similar. It would be hard to tighten them down enough that it would'nt move around. Why put it in the filter, can you not put it in the air box or part of the intake tract?

Use a nozzle retaining nut. Just flatten out the pleat to secure it.

I always pushed it thru the panel and the metal held it fine.
On the underside I would use some zip ties to hold the line in place.

Ran many different combos that way and never had a issue.

Don't forget some Locktite for rotating pieces, green in color to help keep it in place.

Depends on the filter style you have. I made a special bracket I bolted into the filter on my corvette.
