Finally found missing horsepower !!
Turns out when i converted the 5177 NOS dry kit to a wet kit , i should have used a NX nozzle instead of a NOS fogger nozzle.
Best run i ever got sprayin 150 through the NOS nozzle was 11.60@118. Completely by accident i stumbled across the fact that the NOS nozzle inside diameter is smaller than even my 100 (rwhp) jets. I bought an NX nozzle and put in the same jet size i ran in the NOS nozzle,(62n/32f) (150 rwhp)and all i can say is (Holy Crap). Tomorrow is the last track day of the season (Stanton). I will see just how much power i was missing .
Very excited to get a chance at my first 10 second pass.
Sorry so long !!
Dave

A guy in my car club has a 99 SS and with 175 rwhp jets and similair mods went 10.8's and i could not figure out why i ran 7.3 @ 92 (1.56),when he ran 6.8 @ 102. (1.47) (1/8th mile).
I know all cars are different but this was not even close. Tomorrow i will try and even the time slips out.
I will post my (hopefully) new best time tomorrow.

Good news is i finally got the car done after 11 months. Hit so many damn speedbumps along the way, but i can say that i can now change an oil pump in about 2 hours or less.
Took it to thunderbird on the 18th and managed a 12.10@112 on the motor with 20 degrees of timing(KR the entire run) and both Ltrims in the +25 range. Now comes the fun part of why its pulling timing and getting the computer tuned. I wanted to spray it but didnt want to be down anouther 11 months or longer. So far i belive our prediction of 130+ traps on the bottle wont be too hard with the bugs worked out if not i have jets all the way to 400hp.

glad to hear you finally got your car running again. Nice times (with KR). I found out that my convertor does not like the 150 shot AT ALL. It stalls about 5200 and hangs there.
I did get a new best though- 11.46@118 with a 1.56 60ft.
I guess i will need to replace my convertor for something close to your setup now.
Good luck on the Directport set up.
