Default New best N/A ......

The GBR car went 10.78 @ 135 last night.

With no dyno time Shiz was getting it dailed in pretty fast.
We made 3 passes...

13.0 ..... Let off 1/8 th to make sure everything was good (brakes, susp)

Next pass ... ran it out went 10.98 @ 133 (1.83 60' spinning)

3rd pass .... was the 10.78 @ 135 (spun again 1.82 60')

We have a few things to work on this weekend, should be ready for some N20 next weekend.

mir on sunday for the 275 race.

After look at the final run log we put a little timming in and the car leaned out . We need a couple more NA runs so i can figure out does it like the timming or being lean. Its leaner and more timming than we have ever ran it NA. last years tune needed 30lb/hr of fuel above 4K or so.

1.8 spinning with the t brake going to 5K we didntt get to try any higher since the track sucked and our supention was probably not perfect. we will scale/square it this week.

HKE 396 iron block. Perf Indiuctions C5X heads/ PIS 2 piece intake.

GBR( ATV and I) Tuned on a fast xfi. It will go a 10.5 and 138mph next time out id guess. The fuel log showed the car wanted more fuel and never peaked. it needs to be shifted 500 rpm higher on the motor. he was using the nitrous shift points.

135mph n/a is good. Why can't you guys hook up n/a, are you running a different tire or the entire car is not set-up for n/a launching? that's prob a low 10.xx car should you get it dialed in completely for n/a running? Good luck and let us know how it came out.

It was friday night at capitol ( known as crapitol by the locals) and honestly we didn't even do anything other than adjust the panhard for the new ride hight. we only spun the tires 2X all last year and that was on the 350 shot. spinning will not be an issue

We left it the same as last year( pass front valve cover near the pump) but when we changed valve covers the new ones had a -12 oring port in them so we screwed the fitting directly in. Last year we had about a 3" stand on it then the fitting this must have been enough. we are moviong it to the valey cover so we can weld in a bafle .

be careful...tyson and I tried the valley cover on mine (with an aluminum bafflle) and it sucked serious oil becuase the cam is throwing alot of oil upward. I moved mine on the front of my valvecover where yours was and its been great...not pulling really any oil...and there really isn't any standoff either

I do use one of those moroso oil-air separators inline between the valve cover and vac pump inlet just to be sure, but its been dry (just condensed oil and water vapor)
