I am using an iat tricker setup on my GTO. I have hp tuners so I can adjust the amount of timing pulled when the nitrous is activated.
The way I have mine wired up, the iat tricker activated any time the solenoid gets power. It works great, and you can see the timing being pulled with any scan tool.
Cheap and effective.

so, i konw this thread is couple months old. but, you do this on a switch and only pull when you spray? that would be nice. so is it instant that the computer pulls the timing, or does it take a second. i would hate to shoot a bigger shot under WOT and wait say 3 seconds for the timing to be pulled. or am i not thinking correctly at all?

thats nice how you have that setup. i was considering that as well. i might have to try it that way. good stuff. im running a 100 shot right now without any timing bein pulled. if i maxed the tricker out and pulled 3 degress, you think id be good on the 150 shot?

At 194 on a stock 04 GTO iat timing pull table, it is -11. 185 is -10. 176 is -9. 158 is -8. 149 is -7.
You get the point. If you have hp tuners you can set whatever tables to whatever you want.

As has been said, this has been used for awhile to add timing.
I know that these cars pull timing when it gets warm, thats the idea here. Are there any adjustments made to the fuel?

here's how to add a trim POT (Potentiometer) so you can dial in exactly what you want pulled on any given day or size hit.

here is what we want and values for fix resistors. (I have mucho info and write-up on my site, via google)
9420 ohms = 32 *F - 0 *C
7280 ohms = 41 *F - 5 *C
5670 ohms = 50 *F - 10 *C
4450 ohms = 59 *F - 15 *C
3520 ohms = 68 *F - 20 *C
2796 ohms = 77 *F - 25 *C
2238 ohms = 86 *F - 30 *C
1802 ohms = 95 *F - 35 *C
1459 ohms = 104 *F - 40 *C
1188 ohms = 113 *F - 45 *C
973 ohms = 122 *F - 50 *C
<---750 ohms would give you the default 3 deg here at 55c.
667 ohms = 140 *F - 60 *C
467 ohms = 158 *F - 70 *C
332 ohms = 176 *F - 80 *C
241 ohms = 194 *F - 90 *C

That table Power adder vs IAT, or what ever it is called. We had tried this for fueling the before the MAF style kits. Unless you were getting a good cold reading, it didn't work well, and also the temp reading could vary. What the table really is, is a PE multiplier that gets added onto your WOT Power Enrichment multipier. I do have all the numbers on what multiplier numbers equal what a/f ratio should anyone decide to target a temp and use this table. Another way to fuel the Dry shots. ![Grin](https://ls1tech.com/forums/images/smilies/LS1Tech/gr_grin.gif)
