Default Looking to play with some spray

I am looking at putting a kit on my car the end of the year to see what i can get the car to do. But i want a good kit for the mods but dont want to go crazy. what upgrading will i need to do to my fuel system??

engine
Ls6 long block stock
vindicator cam 240 244 608 596 on a 112LSA
kooks 1 7/8 header's kooks 4in y and mufflex 4in spintech
fast90/90 ported with 42pd injectors
tick shift stage 2 m6 tex oz700 clutch
moser nine with a going to be 4.56 gear and 28 tire D/R on the street and slick for the track

and right know the car makes 436RWHP & 388RWTQ and its best was a 11.45 with a **** poor 1.65 60 so i am tying to get 10.s cam only right know hens the 4.56 gears and 28 tire is going in. and my best mph is 124mph and the car weight is 3456lbs with me in it.

So help me make my mind

Wet or dry kit? How much are you looking to spray? You will need to upgrade your fuel pump no matter what.

I would be worried about hitting the rev limiter in 4th gear with the 4.56s. I would be more inclined to recommend 4.30 gears.

I would put a 255 pump in the tank. The 42# injectors if they are green tops should be fine. I would do a simple plate kit and your car should fly.

Hey man, this is off subject but I live in Aurora also, right by 88. My car just went into the shop the other day for a bunch of work. We should meet up some time and have some fun. Name is Jeff by the way.

Oh yes..... the Vindicator LOVES the spray especially with a bump in compression. I would recommend a stronger pump ( I like the walbro or racetronix) for that big of a shot I like to use the higher pressure pumps instead of the low pressure ones when using a stock in tank regulator. That a nice plate kit (I like the Daves nitrous outlet kit, what I have). Also just some food for though I have a timing twister on my car so she runs strong on the motor but can pull timing at the flip of my arming switch since the higher compression. Just remember to gap your plugs as well as adjust your heat range and fuel mixture.

I haven't been to the track since I put my car back to together but on the motor she pulls like a beast (I'm M6 with 4.10s and 59cc chambers) and the spray (for me is usually 125 or 150) makes it OH SOOOO much better. LOL

to be honest, I'd consider a twin intank if you're making 440 on motor and are gonna hit it with a 150-200 hit, a fuel pump is like 150 bones vs toasting a 7k engine, at least thats how I look at it. Short story, you're car should fly.

Ps, i'm in st. charles so if it comes to tossing a dual pump in, i've done it, twice piece of cake, if you go that route let me know if you need a hand.

Hi guys, looks like your pretty local to me too. I probably shouldn't say though as I drive a lowly LT1. You locals ever hit up GLD or Byron?
By the way, I run a Nitro Daves plate also and am now addicted to nitrous.

i have a lt1 with stock fuel pump and shooting a 200 shot wet the only upgrade i have for the nitious is a msd retard box and a boost pump i would recomend a window switch i have my nitrious on a full throttle switch and my buddy has a window switch so when he gives it full throttle the nitrious cmes on at 3,000 rpms and shuts off at 6,500 so he doesn't spray it to low and doesn't bounce off the rev limiter just my .02

Without a doubt you will need a higher flowing pump and hotwire harness to support the fuel side.

id say a racetronix kit would be just fine with the hotwire for anything under 600rwhp naturally aspirated.
