Default NOS stall

I was running a 3600 circle d but switched from a single disc to multi disc. Bumped the stall to 4000 and lost about 7 mph and a tenth on motor. Picked up a tenth on the gas but still lost 3mph im trapping at almost 7k should i go back to the smaller stall speed? Im wanting to not be so high in the rpms.

You probably going to have to go back to the 3600 or go to a 3800.

Have you verified that the Converter isn't slipping anymore??

First off there is not enough info on the car. the convertor is dependent on alot of things liek cam, heads, powerband, pk tq, shift rpm. etc. what are the sift extensions of each? The best bet is to tell the convertor company what you have and what you want to do. they will make you a good convertor. you telling them what stall you want is counter productive.
