Default 2deg colder than stock

Will going 2deg colder change the performance of my car without the nitrous?
I have not used the nitrous yet because i have not changed my plugs yet. I'm just curious.

well just to let you know, from my experience, my stock plugs were gapped at .040, i just changed them sunday in favor of ngk BR7EF gapped at .035. now, it could be just me, but SOMETHING is slightly different. i dont know what it is. but something feels different. i dont know that i would say the performance is less due to the coldness of the plug or the smaller gap. but something is slightly different. sorry man wish i could help ya more

It shouldn't hurt the N/A performance much at all if any....i mean you might be talking a few HP decrease.

BR7EF is a solid plug for a street car on a small shot. I just put a set in my C5 for the 150hp hit.

if you go with br7ef, dont get the ones with the "P" in the code, those are projected, and you dont want that

It will foul faster, maybe won't idle as nice depending on your tune.

for your reference NGK BR7EF part # 3346 is what you'll be looking for. that is a 2 step colder non-projected tip plug. I dont believe there is a projected tip NGK plug in that heat range except for the iridium one, so you won't have any problems avoiding that.

That's usually the case, they are hard to come by at most stores. Let me know if you have any questions or anything.

I have the BR7EF plugs. The idle IS worse. But nothing I can't live with. I'm not getting any fouling after running on the street in stop and go traffic for last few months.

With te colder plug put some more timming in it at idle we use about 8 more degrees bellow 1500 rpm and lean it out a good bit .It will help keep them clean.

so, not trying to hijack, is there any negative side effects to running these plugs, i just put them in, and they seem to work good. should i be leary of the long run with these, or just plan on changeing them every other oil change
