Default Biggest dry hit on 93 octane

Just like the title says, I was wondering what is the biggest hit I could run on pump gas.

I would like to run 100 or 150 but i dont know if it would be safe.

Ran a 250 shot years ago at the Pump Gas Drags.

You'll be "OK" as long as the tune up is good.

Wow, on a dry kit?

I would have figured wet.

so this is my basic understanding. The more octane the fuel has the more timing you can run safely. So if i ran a a 200 shot on 93 i would pull like 6 or 7 degrees of timing to be safe, but on 110 i would be safe only pulling like 4 degrees. Am I thinking the right way or am I totally off?

Right, but pull more than that.
Also cold plugs help it from burning up with less octane.

TS6, it was a hidden 2 stage dry.

The more I read about dry and its tuning ways the more I am liking it. I especially like it on an aftermarket pcm like the FAST. so cool so cool.

so are you still running your stock PCM or are you using an aftermarket unit. If your still on stock what did you use to pull the timing.

And we must see pics of your install. I really want a hidden setup but the only truly hidden one i've seen is the moneymaker. I want to stay dry so I would appreciate any tips on how to hide a dry system.

It was on a stock PCM back then. We pulled timing out of the tune with HPtuners no trickers or anything.

There was nothing to see. We had 2 nozzles punched thru the air filter and the noids mounted to the underside of the airbox. all lines and wires were hidden well and loomed. People were all over the car that weekend and I dont think anyone ever found the kit. We told everyone it didnt have nitrous and that the 8 nitrous bottles behind the car were just for show. lol

thats crazy. I saw the N2O outlet halo kit that goes through the filter but if you shoot through the MAF, can you still use the hsw interface to add fuel?

I have a 200 shot dry without any problems. the main thing about a bigger dry shot is make sure you have the fuel system to support it and you dont drain your rails when the nitrous comes on. Dry is where its at with EFI intakes in my opinion.

No we dont use them.

The driver side is the inlet.... crosses over in the back and the passenger side is the regulator with a return.

it works well. I have about 1000 pounds of nitrous through it with only a few pprobs (my mistakes. Popped Headgaskets). The fuel system is tapped at 800 rwhp though.
