600 rwhp? and the SAUCE?
MOST would agree that our ls1 can go to 600whp on a good tune and be for the most part reliable.
so why when people ask about what size shot to run. MOST people will say to not spray more then a 200 shot. we are talking stock to stock here, just to clarify.
i understand that its all in the TUNE. i get that. but im around 290ish stock through my A4 gto. and if i go with like a 200 shot. that would probably net me to the 460-480 range. wheres the other 120 whp at that would net me the 600whp.
i guess i just dont understand. i know nitrous is brutal and hard hitting. been spraying 100 shot now for a little while. but when i was building the turbo kit, we were gunning for around 590 whp. so why do most people say we cant do this with nitrous.
thanks for reading. im just curious what the real deal is here. so.. what, that would be like a 300 shot. LOL. right? to get to around 550-600whp. assume we are talking about nitrouse system thats rated at the wheels.

You need a cam and headers to keep up with a 200 or more shot of N20.
Then you'll be making more than 290hp and you will get more hp out of your nitrous kit with the same jetting.

My car makes 605/589 on a supposed 175 shot,it's actually less than a 150 shot because the nitrous system is crank rated. There's no way I would want to make that power on a stock bottom end for any length of time.
