Nothing hurt yet but we have 1 hole down a bit on the compression tester. we are going to check it out this weekend( got 2 spare pistons). Even if we burned 1 I think its ok with the amount of passes and nitrous we have run threw this thing. this weekend we really leaned on the tune. went faster every round.

Its been a great year!

Its Sept. and this will be the 1st time the heads have been off the car.
It cant be hurt to bad if it went the fastest ever on the last pass.
But #1 was low on compression when we checked it Sat. morning but it ran strong all day.

You know, they always say she goes fastest right before she pops. Throw a new slug in that sucker and convince the Duck to let EFI run in Feb.

Thats not true, we have had a few pop over the years and they always slow down before there hurt.

Whats the deal with that? EFi is such a huge advantage?
I would say its the oppisite (sp) for us as there is not much info out there for DRY EFI.

I was thinking about going down there just to raise some hell if they would let EFI in. My car fits every single rule except that one. Did he ever say if it would be an all run class, or qualified?

Ours fits but we would have to buy a plate. Steve wants one for a 3rd stage anyways.

Qwik 32 I think.

I don't know. I think the payday is gonna bring all of the heavy hitters out. Kind of scary for guys like me that might be able to squeeze a 5.XX with my current setup. It would just be nice to go a round or two. I hope he catches enough crap to wiggle on this one.

As you know it's not always the fastest/quickest car that wins, got to make rounds. I think you could do fine, go for it.
