i went 9.0 with my ls2 402 stock bore but 4" crank.
good rods, pistions, rings. eagle crank. arp bolts all around. fast 90mm with 2 stages totaling 300-350 worth of spray. car ran for a while on 1 stage going 9.3's all day long about 200 worth of spray maybe 250
i did the set up myself with the help of east side performance

I dont know if anybody kept that record....but if they did you might want to check a GTO or vette forum since they were available with the LS2 6.0.
I think there is already to many "records" being kept. I'm ok with fastest cam only and head/cam, but when you start getting into fastest turbo 5.7, 6.0, 6.2; the fastest nitrous stock bottom end, fastest nitrous 347 (forged) and all that its just more confusion than its worth.
I say get your 6.0 and make it do what it can. on a fresh rebuild with a good tune it will probably take about a 250 shot a couple of times. With a light enough car you will be getting into the 9's.

I think I have the all stock engine, black high mileage Z28, black 18 inch ZR1, with a scratched windshield world record. 13.36 Bitches.

i am not worried about the block or even the record i know the block will hold pretty good amount of power, i am wondering about how fast someone has been able to push the stock 6.0 bottom end i am going to lean on this one hard but be safe with the tune ups. i am going to nail this bitch and find out, so instead of smart *** coments buzz12586 and melscrilla insite of prior setups would be great. not bullshit i want to be king of the 12second LS1

LOL They just don't know you man. BTW the TH350 from your car that you put in Johns care a few years back is still holding on like a champ.
I imagine you can get bottom 9's out of it with rod bolts and studs.

Not a F-body but a local guy pulled a completely stock 6.0L iron block from a truck and threw it in his 10.5 outlaw s-10 last year after his motor went down so he could finish the season for points. He went low 5s in the 1/8th mile with a single turbo setup. Rods, pistons, bolts and gaskets were all stock from the truck it came out of. He finished the year on it and finally toasted the bottom end the next spring. Goes to show what these motors can handle.

Like I said before if you want to know the record you should check out some corvette or gto sited because they come with the 6.0. I also stated on a fresh rebuild with a good tune it will probably take about a 250 shot a couple of times. With a light enough car you will be getting into the 9's.
If thats not what your looking for than sorry. I guess???????
