c5 with spray? gurus needed
I have a 02 c5 that is fully suspended with a drag radial. I want to install a kit and hit it with atleast a 150 and up to a 200. Can these cars handle that big of a shot with out a problem. Engine is completely stock with stock exhaust still lol. Only mod is a cold air intake and a muffler. Can I hit it with that amount and be safe and if so can anyone give me a idea of what it will run with a 150 shot or even a 200 shot.
thanks, Tom

is your car auto or 6 speed? keep in mind that stock 4l60e's are only rated at like 360 rwtq
300ish stock + gobs added by nitrous = not good for stock converter and stall for long

When my motor was bolt ons, I ran a 150 shot all the time. Run colder plugs and 100 octane and you will be fine. Now I run a 125 with the heads/cam set up. Would run a bigger shot, but so far that beats most everything out here in Vegas. lol

The stock bottom end will safely handle a 150 shot. I would suggest upgrading the fuel pump for anything over a 100. There are people spraying 200 on the stock bottom end but they are understanding they are pushing the limits.
Keep in mind the key to safey doing nitrous is in the quality of the products and doing it correctly. Take time to seek the right people for technical knowledge and make sure the car is tuned correctly.
