c5 with spray? gurus needed
I have a 02 c5 that is fully suspended with a drag radial. I want to install a kit and hit it with atleast a 150 and up to a 200. Can these cars handle that big of a shot with out a problem. Engine is completely stock with stock exhaust still lol. Only mod is a cold air intake and a muffler. Can I hit it with that amount and be safe and if so can anyone give me a idea of what it will run with a 150 shot or even a 200 shot.
thanks, Tom

When my motor was bolt ons, I ran a 150 shot all the time. Run colder plugs and 100 octane and you will be fine. Now I run a 125 with the heads/cam set up. Would run a bigger shot, but so far that beats most everything out here in Vegas. lol
Well let me tell you their is a car down here that is a 01 c5 and its bone stock with stall even full stock exhuast manis, with cat and stock exhaust to the bumper. No ls6 parts or a cam, stock engine with a 150 wet kit that runs 10.8s all fukn day..
The stock bottom end will safely handle a 150 shot. I would suggest upgrading the fuel pump for anything over a 100. There are people spraying 200 on the stock bottom end but they are understanding they are pushing the limits.
