Default Did ngk stop making the b8esf? part # 1049

I have been looking high and low for some b8efs plugs and 2 local retailers say they no longer make the plug and the rest seem to be out. What is a good substitute plug in this heat range besides the b8esf?

Autolite AR474 for a non projected tip.

I haven't heard anything about them being discontinued...maybe they didn't want to do any legwork for you.

I called NGK and they said NAPA could order them for sure. They still make it.

Usually the case.....

I went to NAPA looking for submersible fuel hose and got the same result.

are you talking about the BR8EF whick is a non projected, 8 heat range, because the b8efs doesn't exists. you can add the "S" to the end which make the tip a screw on. napa should be able to order them all day for you or even carquest

I'm pretty sure you are incorrect on this one... The 8 heat range plug is not a resistor plug... That's what the "R" in BR7EF is. I did some leg work for the OP with the research on plugs I did for my setup, he needs a B8EFS

B - 14mm thread diameter
8- Heat Range
EF - Tapered Seat .708" reach
S - Standard 2.5mm D Electrode

That's a breakdown of the NGK Part number
