It's going to depend on your tire and how high your willing to rev your motor. I'm running 4.30 gears and 30" tires on a 6400 rev limiter so I can stay in third through the traps.

99 BG TA, not sure if I can handle stepping down to a 100shot, but if I find it in me I will let you know how it does on that little size

TWINK: It really kind of depends on your tire size, but I'd say that more than like 4.10's will be a bit much for MOST tires. Trevor ran a 3800 stall, 3.73's, 26-10-15 tires, and a 150 shot and he was having to go into OD before the end of the quarter mile. Do you know what tire you are going to run?
This cam LOVES nitrous, and makes some great power. We've had numerous A4 cars with this cam and Patriot Stage 2 heads and 100-150 shots making great power on the dyno, and awesome track times

I think I need to reduce timing, as Reckless has mentioned to me 100's of times, add an LS6 intake and maybe some S2 heads. I really think its to hard to hit 10's on stock LS1 intake, my chitty 2000heads....I have been sooo close, but its not a hand grenade.
This is in a DA of around 1500 or so most year long, is this not to good, or not to shabby?

I haven't done it but its in my plans.
I would have to speak up and say don't do the 4.10's UNLESS you have a 12 bolt or better!...... u might have been expecting some other reason but THEY WILL BREAK too easily! I broke my 3.73's and I'm on my 3.23's now and I haven't had any problems and they have been in for a few track days and they are working fine. the 3.73's lasted about 2 track days.(maybe 10-12 passes).
Also use a 28 tire.
