Default How to Uninstall Nitrous?

I bought my car a couple yrs ago with nitrous already installed. I have never used it, nor do I want it on the car. To be honest, I know nothing about nitrous. Is there some kind of "how-to" for uninstalling it? Its a dry kit, bottles in the spare tire area, and its ran through my air box. I want to uninstall everything, purge, WOT switch, gauges etc etc. Not sure how practical/worth it is though...

Any help is appreciated.

Patrick.

Just trace wires and start removing things. Should be pretty straightforward.

I suggest you try using it a few times, then see if you still wanna pull it off.

If any of you guys are close to me, and want to help uninstall it. I'll give you a deal on it, and include the a/f, nitrous pressure, fuel pressure gauges .

As far as trying it goes... my current tune has some issues, and I wouldn't feel comfortable using the nitrous, I'm hoping to get it retuned in the next couple weeks, but it won't be tuned for nitrous.

It kinda scars me that you are asking how to take it off. It is it's own system and very simple if you look at it to see what to take off. You asking how to do it means it might be a great idea to have someone around to make sure you don't take parts of the car off. Being a dry system you should have it out in about 45 min not much to take off.

You have an a/f gauge...thats even better. Put in a 50 jet and watch the a/f. If all looks good up it to a 75 jet. Then a 100 jet. Then you will wanna keep it.

LOL.

There really isn't much to worry about when removing. Just take your time and don't rip and tear things apart, just incase a wire is soldered to your tps sensor etc. Just take your time and trace things back.
