HSW nitrous on a built C5R 427ci?
hey guys
i am looking at a HSW 90mm plate kit for my 427 motor. it is forged, obviously, so i think a 200 shot should do well for me. im making 535rwhp/520rwtq right now. im hoping for low 700s and high 800s tq. think i will make that goal?
also, do i need to upgrade fuel system. i have a stock pump with 30# injectors right now. do i need to upgrade the fuel pump and injectors? i have a racetronics fuel pump sittin on my shelf ready to go in. i also have some 60# injectors at my disposal.
I am very new to nitrous. I have been hesitant on it and leaning towards boost, but that would require a LOT more money and changes to my motor. plus, i could not road race my car after installing a blower.
Any thoughts and opinions would be appreciated! thanks

You shouldn't have a problem making the numbers you're looking for.
Either way you will need to upgade your fuel system. If you go with a wet kit you have the option of running a stand alone fuel system to just fuel the nitrous, and the injectors you have will be fine. If you opt for a dry system you are going to need more than a racetronix pump for 700rwhp I believe, and you will need injectors.
I'm going to run a wet kit with a stand alone personally.

At the Horse power level you are making I would suggest staying with a wet system and looking into installing a dedicated fuel system. We have a nice selection of dedicated fuel systems for the Corvette. Let me know if I can help you in that area.
