A class that only allows 1 stage with 4 solenoids no progressive controller. . Wire the 2 sets of solenoids seperate so basically it was 2 stages. Turn on half the motor as per the firing order. The car wouldnt leave with the large tune-up it had in it we did this and the guy was extremly happy. And it has worked on 2 other cars also.

All the works looks beautiful and I do not know if there is a good place to ask, but aside from it looking amazing. and maybe for LSX stuff in cramped engine bays. Is there a disadvantage from using flex line? Aside from having too long of a line leading to an imbalanced shot, just a hard vs flex perspective. i would love to hear an opinion,
I must say impressive work indeed.

Yea when its all on it should be around that much power but never really dyno'd it. If it runs the numbers you know its making the power.
Blackscreaminmachine what kinda flex line are you wondering about. The plastic tubing or like #3 braided stainless lines.

I think he's thinking the Nos type softline. The softline, only bad thing is that you should replace it every so often, and ovbously it can melt, but it's not near the headers so it's not a problem.
If you were to use all -3 braided flex line, it would be pretty pimp, but the problem there might be that line not being quite that flexible, so it could cause some routing problems to the distribution block.
Soft line Nos type plastic line, you can plumb yourself easily, that's a plus too.

The softline setup that is available thru Nos isn't bad at all. That stuff is pretty flexible, and the line itself is cheap enough to keep a good bunch of it on hand.
It's also something I would probably replace once a year.. but it's just the plastic line, the fittings come off easy enough.

Well I know I probably shouldnt type this because we arnt a sponsor of this site, but speedtech has no problems with the softline breaking or needing to be replaced once a year. We have been using it for 4 years on pro-mods and never had a problem when installed correctly. And when we built the systems the lines were pressure tested to 2500 psi for like 4 hours.

We use a softline like I used on this intake.. Works very well. Does not break down like the plastic style NXL line and you do not have to worry about crushing the hose causing a restricting flow

I may be confused, but that looks like Tom Kempf's really old nitrous setup. Circa many years ago. I remember because I was searching for pictures of SX2 setups and that was one of the only ones I could find. I now have an SX2 setup sitting in my garage waiting for an engine to put it on.
