No I meant the OP. I just quoted you as I had the same impression with the backfires. I would think the CATS wouldn't hold up too long.

Car moves pretty good, congrats ona solid run. That's 9 second mph if you care to know

If he had cats in the car... they're hollow now That 2 step will punch them out real quick. Then, you have to wonder, is there a chunk in the exhaust causing the exhaust to get clogged up... that happened to me, things came apart, and they were stuck in the exhaust, car was running like crap... put it on the dyno, it was down 70 hp, and then we looked behind the car and saw the pieces on the ground 2 hours later the Y pipe was off and the cats were getting banged out with a long metal rod and a hammer. Good to go afterwards

No, man! I'm running a two step. Inbetween shifts it cuts the ignition and a little fuel builds up in the exhaust and then ignites when the ignition comes back. Nothing bad. It all happens in the exhaust.

The two step is used for launching the car mainly. When I get to the line and press in the clutch, I hit the gas to the floor and the two step will cut the ignition at 4500 ( or any desired rpm u select). When I let the clutch out it disengages the two step. Every time I shift it cuts ignition again but this time at 7000 so I never have to lift my foot off the gas pedal. Hence the reason for the small backfired you see.

Hope I explained it well enough for u.

They are full Hoosier 28x10x16 drag slicks. I'm assuming by kit you mean on the spray. If so then yes I do. As soon as I come off the clutch the nitrous is spraying.

Thats moving for sure. I ran some similar time stock bottom end with a a4. Don't think I could do it in a 6 spd.

NIce runs! Question on 2-step/Nitrous. You mentioned the 2-step was set at 4,500 on that run. How are you activating the Spray? Do you have it wired up to activate once the 2-step is released? Using a nitrous controller? Just curious how you have it all set up....

The two step is run into the clutch position sensor and from there into a relay that opens when the clutch is down. From that relay it goes into two other relays ( one for each solenoid) that keep the fuel and nitrous solenoids from opening once on the two step. I'm not running a controller at all.
