yes they can explode but only if severly over pressurized or impact and nitrous is very flammable you should really consider doing alot of research on N2O before you just through it on there. IMO

If you half a brain, nothing really other you being out 50 plus bux for a refill and buying a new burst disc. Most run a blowdown tube that attaches to the valve that will release all the nitrous out side the car if it's gets too hot. It runs through the back trunk floor area where most mount the bottle. As long as it's ran outside the car you will be ok.

Nitrous is just like anything else, use it safely and you should be fine. Take unnecessary risks and you could get hurt.

If you have all the windows closed and a full bottle it has the potential to displace all of the oxygen and suffocate you, but chances are it will smell like rotten eggs (sulfur additive) and make a hissing sound.

Dude, what kind of questions are these? Yes, I am sure that Nitrous Oxide if pumped into an enclosed space containing a human being has the potential to knock them out (think dentist's office). Automotive grade nitrous also contains an additive to make it harsh on the lungs and undesirable to inhale. Why are you asking these questions?
