That bottle has me alittle scared..... From the picture it looks like someone removed the safety blow off fitting in the valve and put a plug in it...IF that is the case you need to redo that as fast as possible before someone gets hurt.....

Those are 326 style valves..

You need this.

Bottle nut.

Take a picture of the back of the valve please sir.

+1 how old is the bottle after I believe 3 yrs you are supposed to have it recertified especially if you havent owned it since it was new. And put a blow down on ASAP.

http://www.nitrousoutlet.com/catalog...=23&section=75

00-35001 part number for rupture disc, check to see if thats the correct one with nitrous outlet

the blow down tube itslef can be braided line like in the link or a metal tube.

You may seriously want to get the bottle checked. The guy who had it before may have exceeded the 3000psi and ruptured the disc causing it to release the pressure and he was too cheap to put a new one on hence why it is capped up(once the disc ruptures it has to be replaced). There really is no reason not to have one on there.

Yes that is a plug in the Blow off port. This is extremly important that you remove that. If who ever put that into the valve bottomed it out in the port you will more than likely need to replace the valve. The back of the port has to have a smooth flat surface for the blow off fitting to compress the blow off disc between the valve and fitting.

If you can take that plug out and take a really good picture I may be able to tell you if it needs replaced.
