Default Smaller cube glide cars

What made you guys go glide? How many of you are still doing power management or can you launch 100% power.

Curious because I been getting a lot of **** over going glide. Wondering why/how it has/is working for you guys

whats your car weigh, what kind of power are you making? the gear ratio in the glide usually helps high horsepower cars that fight traction issues.

I still can't launch 100% but I'm spraying a pretty good sized shot.

The glide will absolutely kill your N/A times if you are running a tight converter.

If you ave a car that weighs in the 3200lb or less range and it makes over 600rwhp then you might benefit from it. if not the stick with a TH350 or 400

Should be pretty light. Was 3345 full weight with spare and c5z motorsports.

Hoping to get it less than 3100 raceweight. Will be a big cam lq9 with about 10.5:1 and a 200 shot eventually once the tuneups in hand.

Wanting to get into the 9's. What gear/tire size combo are you guys running?

Well to be completely honest. I had a 4l60e i straight swapped a guy for a good glide. Brake turbo input 9' converter etc. Too good a deal. Before I did it i took a look at Baked shiz atv and some of the stock cube guys and most of them run a glide so i figured that was the direction i needed to go anyway. So i pretty much jumped on the PG band wagon like that.

Hoping I can make it all work now.

Thats what the guys who run hard all seem to say.

Im trying to figure out who made the 9' i have know. Once i get some specs on it i think im going to let fti or someone go over it.

How important have you found rear gear to be?

I had a glide in my car when I was stock cube. It had a 1.8 first gear with an 8 inch converter.

Well that's silly... Well then....

On the glides are you guys running as much gear as you can?

Some other opinions I got made it seem like if you didn't have 4.56's it wouldn move off the line even with the brake

Hell ya. It's got 3.55's so that's will be run for at least a bit. Till I decide how much gear I actually want.

I plan on a 150 pill right off the brake
