bottle?
bottle? ok guys i have a question i bought a bottle off my buddy its an old nitrous works bottle. i got it for a real good deal. my question is can i put a different valve say from one from nitrous outlet in it, i have it apart already and i need to get it certified but the valve that is on it does not have a blow down tube atatchment it has a rupture disc just nothing to attatch a tube too.
for the price of say a HSW 10lb bottle why not just buy new instead of spending the money or a new valve and still have a old bottle? i cant see the picture but it still doesnt seem worth it to me.

If the bottle is that old, I would get it checked out. Over time, after being heated and cooled repeatedly, the bottle's structural integrety beginning to weakin. Not worth the risk to me..... I'd just buy a newer bottle, if the one u have is That old.

Yes you can swap bottle vavles. Recently done it to a buddies bottle. It too was a nitrous outlet bottle adn went to a high flow Nitro dave valve. If you get that you must get the bottle nut thur them, due to a different fitting. Hope that helps.

i bought an older bottle some time ago for a spare...replaced the valve with a newer 45 degree one(fleabay special),plus a new burst disc,a couple of brass plugs,and so far so good...
you will need another blow down tube fitting if your needing to attach a tube,otherwise just a fresh burst disc...
