Help When Dyno/Tune Nitorus. WHAT TO DO....?
Haven't sprayed in a few years, so I need to get her back in shape. For example. I have an Automatic with 3.42 gears and a YANK SS3600 Stall, 228/.588 114 LSA Cam/Patriot Heads (59cc), Beefed Up tranny (so I could spray through shifts).
What should I set my RPM Switch AT for the LOW RPM's to turn on and HIGH RPM's to turn Off??
Make sure bottle pressure is at 1000 psi, right?
When dynoing, what should they do. Bring it up to what speed and then punch it WOT? (I HAVE A 3600 Stall remeber...)
What should my Air Fuel ratios be on the MOTOR only run, and then what should they be when I Spray. I might run a little safer (richer) and loose a few ponies to make it more safe. Already went thropugh one motor and can't afford another (long story)

Have a 10 pound bottle, how many dyno runs will that get me. I don't want to rag her out, just tune her so I KNOW she is running right, but wan't to knwo so I am aware.
WHAT ELSE?????? You guys tell me.....
Thanks!!!!

You should spray above 2900rpms and stop spraying a few hundred rpms below the fuel cut-off. And YES, ALWAYS AT WOT.
MAKE SURE TRACTION CONTROL IS OFF
If you do trust them and believe they know how to tune your setup then there's no need for you to stand there and tell them that people on the internet told you that your car should be tuned a certain way. Frankly I don't see any legitimately competent shop allowing you to dictate the tune in your car, especially based on internet info.
Remember, you're paying these people for a service, let them do their job.
You should tell them your goals for the car, inlcuding that you'd rather err on the side of safe at the expense of a few hp.
You can ask them how they plan to tune the car and why so you can become more educated on the process but I wouldn't walk in there with a printout from a message board and tell them how to tune the car.
Good luck and let us know how you make out.
