Default Big Ups to HSW/First Time at Track.

Went to run car for first time at the track tonight. Took three attempts to launch the car w/o spinning. The kit worked flawless. Ended up running a 13.06 @105 with a crappy 2.27 60ft. Best part was me and the wife had a great time. I installed my HSW kit(see sig) myself with ease. If you are on the fence about gitting a system do it. Nitrous is like crack and I'm hooked. Hopfully I learn to launch the slow beast and run the numbers the kit is able to achive. Thanks HSW!!

Congrats on the great time you had.. You haven't even came close to realizing the awesomeness of NAWWWWS!! get a radial, and be a lil more aggressive with the clutch.. times will fall like bricks off a roof..

Thanks. I need a good clutch soon with updated hydrolics.
First pass: I did burn out, launched, spun, peddel stuck to floor, shifted to 2nd, stopped spining, nitrous hit and started spining again. Let off and ran a 18.00. Big Fail!! Let air out M/T DRs

2nd pass: Ok burnout, but clutch smells tells me it didn't like it!! Clutch peddle feels soft, feathered it on the start, no juice. took as sec on the limiter b/c clutch didn't want to shift in 3rd= mid 14s, Let air out to about 16lbs.

Finall pass: Left very soft(2.25 60ft), shot hit hard in 2nd at 3,00 RPM, tires held, car shifted into 3rd with small hesitation= 13.06 @ 105.09MPH

P.S.Forgot to thank all ya'll in the nitrous section for all the advice and confidence to spray!

My name is Brian, and I am a nitrous addict!!!!!

No lock. The next mod will have to be a new clutch. The stock one couldn't handle a good burn out followed by a launch. Combined with the nitrous shot the thing smelt like I was going to get out and see flame from trans area. No wonder one of the first things the kit instuctions say is to upgrade your clutch!!

yeah, wait to you get it dialed in, you thought you had fun? just wait Take a look at the monster clutches, I put a stage 3 in mine and it takes a beating on the bottle like nobody's business. Also, get a Tick adjustable master cylinder!!!! It will cure that sticky pedal, and give your clutch that perfect pedal feel. Some sponsers on here will do a package deal
