Default 2 step and nitrous??

My timing tuner has a 2 step also. I saw a video of a corvette launch on a 2 step with nitrous. I think he is a member on here and in his sig it says "2 step with nitrous is the ****" or something. My car is a 6 speed and my builder/tuner told me he doesnt see how the car will benefit with a 2 step and nitrous. Are there any benefits, except scaring the **** out of people at the light??

I read a thread were you activate the 2 step at WOT, and the nitrous doesnt activate, then when you release the 2 step the nitrous is activated off the line.

It can be done that way...you basically wire it up like a transbreak

Thats what i was understanding. With me, it hard to launch my car with the power it making, plus i get real nervous and my foot shakes. Its hard to hold the revs. I figured this would solve it. Yeah ill be getting this done. I cant wait till a ricer pulls up revving and i start 2 stepping.

2 steps are worth every penny when it comes to hooking a stick car. IMO. I love the sound of my car on the 2 step at 6k.

It helps alot with an auto also.

No way we could go 1.20 60' on 275 radials without a 2 step.

I didn't use a 2 step the whole last season I ran, I left right off the converter, and I am 100% sure that had I put a 2 step on the car so I could have adjusted the leave rpm some I could have gotten the car to 60 foot better then it was ( 1.42 to 1.37 depending on the track)

We felt, that the car probably had another tenth in the 60 foot if we had that on the car and spent the time to figure out where it needed to be for a given condition, and adjusted for track conditions from there.

One thing that's on the top of the list, is an aftermarket ECM, so the 2 step is built in along with a bunch of other features.

I assume you have a LNC-002. I've got one I'm hooking up with a 100-Shot. I made this wiring diagram that will let me use the 2-Step and nitrous. It shouldn't be too hard at all to modify the diagram to exclude the MicroEdge if you don't want to use that.

I have a LNC-002 and I have the GTO switch panel. I have the LNC powered by the arming switch. (Orange wire?? I would have to look) I have the activation wired through a micro switch that I have mounted under the dash in front of the clutch pedal. So with the slightest movement of the clutch pedal the 2-step activates. I can never lift off the gas and it drops the RPM to the set limit. I tried to use the stock switch under the dash but they had to much "noise" in them and it messed with the activating.

That was one thing I was worried about. I've heard conflicting reports on the stock clutch switch. I think I'll install a secondary switch just so I can rest easy.

I went from a 1.51 to a 1.46 within my first three launches using the two step. I absolutle LOVE it. Wouldnt trade it for anything else in the world. Take a look at the two videos in my signiture.
