Default Blow Down tube?

Do you have to use a hard tube as a blowdown tube, or can you use braided 8an line?

I'm hoping I can use the braided line, as the hard line is just difficult to mount in my installation.

I have heard braided is not allowed in sanctioned events... not really sure if that matters to me or not...

Still would be nice to know, though.

Any referance material would be nice too.

Thanks

To my understanding it is legal to run a braided line. I run a tube since its cheap and fit without an issue.

I believe a bulkhead is required with a braided line

We have done it both ways. For some show car stuff we have fabed up custom hardline for the blow down tube.

I personally like using 8 an braided hose with the correct fittings. We offer custom pre bulked kits to fit your needs.. These are what I use on all our custom installs.

We offer different arrangements and colors.

Just make sure you have a bulkhead securing it to your floor pan and you're good.
