Default TNT F2 plate kit, what are your opinions?

I might be trading my powerdyne blower for the TNT f2 plate kit. How does it compare tithe nitrous outlet plate kit which is what I wanted in a trade but nobody would give it up lol. Is it a good kit? Any issues with them? Or should I just buy the NO lt1 plate kit?

I love my TNT F2 kit. Good distribution, great power, and no blower lag! Plus its a dual nozzle ring that sprays before the throttle body for even nitrous distribution to all cylinders. Most other plates spray after the throttle body so at high hp levels cylinders 1 & 2 get very little nitrous and cylinders 7 & 8 get way too much.

If it needed selenoids where would I buy them for the f2 kit?

You can use any brand noids. The bigger the better, just make sure your lines mate up.

Why dont you give me a call sir? Ill get you lined out on either some solenoids and we can go over the dual nozzle vs plate stuff.

My name is Graham btw. Happy to help.

Seeing that you have a LT1 I would not use the TNT plate kit on it.. The TNT plate is nothing more than a plate with 1/8npt holes drilled and taped two hold two single discharge nozzles. The issue with this is that the two nozzles are aimed at the back of the intake. The front intake runner is so close that we have noticed that the system has a tendency to over power the back runners and miss the front runners all together. For the guys spraying small shots they have been able to get away with it. But for the guys trying to hit the 200 to 250 mark they were killing pistons and spark plugs.

Now if you take the two nozzles and place them before the throttle body with out using the plate the system will work fine.

If you plan to spray the 200 to 250 mark I personaly would suggest our nitrous plate. The discharge on our LT1 plate was specificaly designed for the LT1 intake and it works awesome.

TNT kits spray BEFORE the throttle body and have very good distribution! One nozzle is for cylinders 1 thru 4 and the other is angled for 5 thru 8. But I now see that you have a LT1 so this kit will not work with your car. I would suggest dual nozzles mounted j

PS - I would suggest dual nozzles (one for each TB port) mounted just after the MAF.

The LSx version of those kits do spray before the MAF via a ring but the LT1 version utilized a plate style setup but with nozzles

If you have to buy new noids and other items then it's really not worth the trade IMO
